Greg has named his kid Rowley, his childhood friend that he loved to hangout with him and his true friend. Rowley is now 9 years old. He has started to write in diaries, but he also, like Greg, thinks of it as a journal, and NOT a diary. He wrote a lot of stuff in it, in the same way that Greg did.
He has always wanted to have a diary of some sort, and here he is with a diary of his own. Rowley has filled up 1/16 of the book already. Do you want to read a part of his diary?
Monday: Today, I had an exciting day. I went to the beach, and played a ton with my dad. We made three sand castles. They were next to each other, and the first one was as tall as me. The second one was as tall as him. The last one was both of the heights combined. It was the first day of summer break, and I had fun, but now I am tired, and I have to get to bed. Good night!
When he writes in his diary, he likes to write about one specific time. When he writes it in his diary, he usually does it right before he goes to bed. His mom was there, at the beach, it's just that she just watched. His mom's name is Molly.
Rowley likes to write in his "Journal" (as he considers it) often. When ever he gets time to, he writes in it. He writes an entry every day. When he finishes, he always hides his diary because it is secret. His parents think he doesn't use it, but they don't know he does, because he does it in secret.
