Character Update: Ethan Anderson!

#New #Character #Boy

Ethan Anderson is a 5ft 6in tall 15-year-old boy growing up in Los Angeles, California. That’s where he has lived his entire life, but he has traveled to other places, both domestically and internationally. It’s something he enjoys doing. He has brown eyes and glasses. He has round glasses with thin rims around the glass. He has short, brown hair and bangs. He is a little fat, but not much. His parents have always been kind to him, but they were also very strict. They’ve always expected him to do well in school and not hang out with older kids in case they were doing bad things. They’ve been more strict with his younger brother since he isn’t as much of a good boy as Ethan is. Ethan is a very outgoing person. Whenever his parents take him to the park, for example, he is always able to make new friends and have lots of fun. In every instance, he has followed his parents' rules and never made friends with older kids, so he doesn’t know how that feels. Though he knows that his parents say that for a good reason, Ethan’s parents are very kind but firm at the same time. They expect Ethan and his brother to get good grades by doing their homework and taking their time doing it, studying many days in advance for tests, and doing chores after finishing homework. Other than that, they were good parents. Ethan’s brother doesn’t like doing chores. Ethan also enjoys playing video games. To him, they feel like a big part of his life. After his homework and chores, he is allowed to play video games for an hour and a half.

Right now, Ethan is in high school. As a 15-year-old, he is in 10th grade. His parents have decided to put him in the best schools in the school district. This was because they wanted him to have the best teachers to teach him the most advanced math, science, and subjects taught in school. He has gotten A’s and A+’s throughout his entire education. He dreams of going to college at the David Geffen School of Medicine, which happens to be at UCLA.

Ethan has lots of friends and rivals. There was one rival whom he had known since kindergarten. That person’s name is Ava Turner. These two people were friends starting in kindergarten. They loved hanging out together at school while talking about things they liked to do as they walked around the schoolyard. Suddenly, they became 5th graders, and the science fair began. Previously, they worked together to win it together, but in 5th grade, they decided to compete. That’s how their rivalry began. Now, they’re still rivals, competing against each other in sports, club leadership, and PE games. Ethan has lots of friends to talk to about this rivalry and lots of other things as well. Oliva Carter loves books. Whenever you see her, she’ll be reading a book. You can call her a bookworm, but she hates being called that. She has helped Ethan with so much, such as English class at school, book recommendations, being a good friend, and so much more! Jackson Chambers lives with a family of inventors and engineers. His family has built all kinds of cool gadgets! Jackson has been interested in them since he was a child. He has been playing with lots of gadgets, such as the ones his parents made, some that he tried to build on his own, and so many more! Thanks to Jackson, Ethan has learned a lot about gadgets and technology!

When Ethan was 9 years old, his parents took him and his brother to Chicago. They traveled for a week. Their mode of transportation was the subway. To Ethan, it was a really big city with a very big subway system. On one day of the trip, Ethan got separated from his family for 2 hours. That day, they were going to explore a little bit of the city, and they were at the subway station closest to their hotel. Ethan’s family couldn’t find him, and he couldn’t find them. He thought he saw his dad board a train, but it wasn’t his dad. It was someone who happened to be wearing the same shirt. Ethan boarded the train. Along the way to the stop after boarding, the train derailed. Ethan was so scared and didn’t know what to do or what was happening. Would he be stuck on the train forever? Why wasn’t his family there? These were questions that were in his head at that moment. Nearby, he saw a train guard telling the passengers that there was a crew coming to help them. The plan was that another train would come, and the passengers on the current train would deboard, walk to the other train in a single file, and take them to the previous station. After the guard finished explaining everything, Ethan went and talked to the guard. He told her everything that happened. She went back to the previous station with him and helped him find his family. When they found them, he thanked the guard, went to the platform with them, and told them everything that happened. They didn’t believe him; they thought his fear was just a lot for him to deal with and made him think he was involved in a train accident, but he heard the whispers of some other passengers.

Ethan dreams of going to the David Geffen School of Medicine to become a doctor afterward. This has been something he has dreamed of since he was 11 years old. He wants to be a pediatrician for kids. He has always been interested in medicine and treating people. There is one thing holding him back, though. He fears that he won’t get into his dream college. If he doesn’t, he would have to go to a college where he isn’t sure if he’s going to thrive or not. He has some friends whose parents went to UCLA, and they are very smart people. They work for software companies or as doctors. The part about doctors is the primary reason he wants to go to this school.

Ethan has a very creative mind. He could draw funny comic strips, and sometimes, when he was younger, he came up with stories that were entertaining to hear. He could also come up with amazing jokes that could make lots of people laugh every time they heard them. While he has great creativity, his biggest weakness is that he has a fear of public speaking and stage fright. There have been times in his life when he has been asked to speak in front of a crowd, but he was too scared to speak. In all of his high school years, his theater teacher told him many times that he would be a good actor and that he should audition for the school play. Ethan said that he had stage fright, so he wasn’t sure if he could.

Ethan was 7 years old. He was in the second grade. One day, he asked his friend for $50 but his friend said no. A few days later, he asked again. His friend, again, said no. Later that month, Ethan went to that friend’s house. When the friend took Ethan to his room, he saw that it was a mess. There were toys, books, and trash on the floor, the bed was not made, the table had a lot of things on it and it was hard to find things, and the window shades were broken. Coincidentally, there was a $50 bill on the floor. He wasn’t sure why it was there, but when his friend wasn’t looking, he took it and put it into his pocket. His friend didn’t notice while Ethan was at his house, but he noticed three days later. Ethan and his friend, whose name is Alex Bennett, live in a small town. It’s so small that by coincidence you could see someone you know when both of you were walking around the city at the same time. That’s why Ethan and Alex tend to walk by each other a lot on the way home from school. They have been enemies since that day, and it’s a pretty well-known fact that these two boys are enemies. Ethan regrets the fact that this ever happened. If he could have one wish come true, it would be to change the fact that this ever happened. Then, Alex would still be his friend. The secret that Alex has is that he wants Ethan to pay him back the $50. If he does that, he won’t be mad anymore.

Ethan’s biggest goal is that after he becomes a doctor, get rich enough to drive a BMW i4. He has heard recently that it’s an electric car with very comfortable seats. His short-term goal is to help him achieve his long-term goal. He wants to volunteer for community service so that when he tells colleges what he did to help the community, he can say that he did service. His goal for the service is 10,000 hours. He also has a goal to write a book before he graduates high school. He is editing his second draft. He is planning to have his peers read through his book and help him edit it so that he has their opinions on it as well. He is very excited to get the book published so that he can show it to his friends at high school and also show it to people during college applications.

Ethan is indecisive. Whenever he has to decide between two things, he will stress out about which to choose. He always asks his parents for help to determine it, and whenever they say that they can’t, it only stresses him out more and makes him annoyed. When he gets to the point where he can’t focus on anything except the feeling of annoyance and the decision he has to make, his parents say that he doesn’t have to make the decision. That helps him calm down and focus on something else. His parents are trying to find a way to get rid of this.

Ethan is a very organized person. He has always been able to keep a clean room and can easily find things in it. He can also be organized in other ways. When it comes to school-related organization, he is always able to keep track of all his assignments. He organizes his Google Drive account (for online assignments) very well. He creates folders for each class and inside of those, he organizes his assignments by when they are due. In his locker, he has a notebook for every class and a folder for every class. He color codes the folders the same way he does in his Google Drive. He also keeps track of when his assignments are due in a notebook specifically for that.

Ethan can be shy with older kids since he isn’t allowed to talk to them. When he gets shy with people, he tends to talk quietly. He is never sure what to say, and when he tries to say something, he is worried that he will say the wrong thing. On the other hand, when he talks to people his age or people he knows already, he talks to them confidently. He thinks about the words he should use before he says something and always uses big words. He tends to talk about what he is feeling to his parents.

Ethan is confident in everything he does except when he is on stage due to stage fright. He is never scared to do new things or talk to other people when he needs to. For example, when he is doing a group project in school, he can work together with them. In ninety-nine out of one hundred group projects, he becomes the team leader and gets the entire group good grades. Also, whenever he travels he is always excited to do new things. He always wants to try the local food and do all the popular things at the place he is traveling. When he goes home, he can tell people that he did so much, he was born there and has lived his entire life there.
