How the Great Solar System Races began

This all happened because they invented instant travel.

Before that, even though we lived on multiple planets, it would take very long to get between them. It really wasn't very practical. Other than big businesses that worked the trade routes between our worlds, no one really bothered interstellar travel.

But after the Instible was invented, everything changed. Today, we don't really have three main planets and the hundreds of little outposts around the Solar System, but instead just one giant city.

Anyone could now use the Instible network to reach anywhere across the major population centers across New Earth City, which was the One Giant City that spanned most of the regions of the known system.

You can imagine what happened in the past 400 years since that day when Professor Instein came up with his incredible invention.

And does anything even need to be said about the races?!
